Add / Edit Journal Form

For you to add / edit journal entries

1. Date

Set the date for the journal entry.

2. Journal No.

The number / code for this journal entry. The number increases each time you add a new journal entry

3. Debit

Here you can specify the account(s) and the amount to debit.

4. Credit

Here you can specify the account(s) and the amount to credit.

5. Debit list

The accounts you have specified in (3) will be listed here along with the amount.

6. Credit list

The accounts you have specified in (4) will be listed here along with the amount.

7. Description

Add a description to the journal entry.

8. Add Entry and Cancel buttons

You can either choose to add the entry to the General Journal or cancel it(make no changes).
