Everything you need to know about the 3 Column Ledger

1. Search

Type the account name to bring the account into focus.

2. Account Name

The name of the account.

3. Date

This column contains all the dates when the transaction / journal entry occurred.

4. Accounts(and Explanation)

This column contains any particulars about the transaction occurred.

5. Reference No.

The numbers listed in this column refers back to the journal entries.

6. Debit

This column contains all the amount debited to the account.

7. Credit

This column contains all the amount credited to the account.

8. Balance

The balance of the account after each transaction. The balance found in the last row is the final balance of the account.
